As the primary financial leader at , you will be responsible for the entire financial ecosystem—from ensuring the accuracy of daily transactions to preparing the company for its next funding round.
1. Financial Operations & Reporting (The Controller Foundation)
* Global Consolidation: Oversee financial reporting for India and international entities, ensuring compliance and inter-company transfer pricing.
* SaaS Revenue Management: Implement and audit revenue recognition policies for Gnani’s "Agentic AI" and "Voice Suite" products, focusing on aspects such as ARR, MRR, and Net Revenue Retention (NRR).
* Audit & Compliance and taxation :Lead annual statutory audits and ensure 100% compliance
* Internal Controls: Establish rigorous financial guardrails for the employees to mitigate risk during rapid expansion.
2. Strategic Planning & Fundraising (The CFO Lens)
* Capital Raising & Cap Table: Manage the company’s capitalization table and lead the financial due diligence for funding rounds with institutional investors.
* Financial Modeling: Build and maintain 3–5 year rolling forecasts that align with the leadership vision of global market leadership in the AI space.
* Investor Relations: Prepare high-impact board decks and monthly performance reports for internal and external stakeholders
* Burn & Runway Management: Closely monitor the company's "Net Burn" and "Cash Runway," providing the CEO with data-driven insights on when to accelerate or tighten spending.
3. Business Partnership & Growth
* Pricing Strategy: Collaborate with Sales and Product teams to design pricing models (Outcome-based vs. Seat-based) that maximize gross margins and LTV.
* Unit Economics: Constantly monitor and optimize the LTV:CAC ratio, ensuring the cost of acquiring global customers remains sustainable relative to their lifetime value.
* Resource Allocation: Advise the leadership team on "Burn vs. Growth" trade-offs, ensuring capital is deployed efficiently into high-ROI R&D and marketing initiatives.
Key Requirements
* Education: Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, or MBA from a top-tier institution.
* Experience: 8–12 years in finance, with at least 3+ years in a high-growth SaaS or Deep-tech environment.
